#this is what breaks the most on derek #he carries the world on his shoulders #this season he is more determined to protect everyone than even Scott is #a man who spent years thinking he was alone finally finds a sister that he thought was dead #and he’s so tired and broken #he actually doesn’t even hold on to that #to that person that he thinks #no he actually believes he will lose again #so much that he’s willing to kill her if there’s no other way to stop her #for the second time this season he sacrifices himself for others #he sacrifices knowing that he might die #derek hale is not living for him anymore #derek hale is trying to fight years of guilt by trying to protect others #even if the price is death #that’s a price he’s willing to pay #and it hurts #because no derek it’s not your fault #i’m just gonna cry in my corner
